4. Yes, this is lightly inspired by the play and film, Hintayan ng Langit. It is called “Heaven’s Waiting” on Netflix. (Watch it!)
5. I translated “hintayan ng langit” to “heaven’s gate” as it seemed better. The direct translation is supposedly “heaven’s waiting place”. “Heaven’s gate” sounded more dramatic.
