In the Blink of an Eye

May we find happiness in longingness
Understanding in the distance
May we find a little more love in the absence
Till then,
Let this love see the truth…

May we never regret the clock ticking with wasted time
When you and I were so close yet so far
When you and I got distracted by the worldly things
Letting ourselves grow apart

May we never regret turning around
When we heard those silent cries
Because of the comfort it feels to just pretend not to hear
May we never regret the stone hearts we made

May we never regret the way promises became usual words
Bearing nothing but air
That we know will just fly
May we never regret the cracks we let our words have

May we never regret the people we used to be
That let our love question its sense
Just because we love what we were before we met
Never thought of adjusting to become one

And yes, I want to say I hate seeing you in the long run
When I know you can’t handle all the cliché we might face
A weak heart that is comfortable with how it is
I hoped you wish to be stronger

I wish I can wake up loving you again.
