The smell of avgas fills the cold, April evening air as the engines of the Airbus A320 bound to somewhere starts roaring. As I enthusiastically stare in awe at this aircraft, I can’t help but to imagine myself how humans have come a long way on putting this marvel of engineering in the skies.

This airplane was a product of  collective dreams, efforts, tears, frustrations, passion, dedication, sacrifice s and love for something. It was conceived because it has a reason for being; to defy gravity.

Airplanes will always have a special place in my heart, and my appreciation for these amazing machines taught me something that I believe all of us can somehow reflect on; no matter how heavy the payload of the responsibilities we have to carry and no matter how turbulent and bumpy our own airways may be, it won’t prevent us in making our dreams and aspirations soar high in the skies and be the reason for our being.

The only thing that separates you from the gravity of the reality you have right now and the reason for being that has been above you for a very long time is the runway of  hesitations and uncertainties. Brave that runway, accelerate on it, leave it behind and make a takeoff.
