Every problem needs a solution and I believe that’s how organizations and committees were formed. Each branch has its own responsibility in taking care of a certain problem.
With what’s happening now in the world, or in our beloved country, Philippines to be specific, I can’t imagine to be in the administration. I kept on thinking how can I resolve all the issues without getting so much hate from my fellow countrymen? Which one should I address first so that I won’t be blamed? Should it be finding the cure to the virus, proper distribution of SAP (Social Amelioration Program), the economy, the challenges in the education system because of the pandemic, the ABS-CBN (Alto Broadcasting System-Chronicle Broadcasting Network) franchise renewal, or the other issues raised by the people of our country?
The first time I thought about this, I whispered to myself, “All the leaders in each sector should have a unified meeting to have a larger view of the situation and its effect to the people. Even though I’m the leader of the nation, I am not God to decide on everything and be able to solve it. Those appointed leaders should focus on their own department to come up with a solution. DepEd just focus on education, DOH focus on the prevention and cure of the virus, etc.” So come to think of it seems to be as easy as solving a math problem.
Unfortunately, maybe solving a math problem is not that easy for everyone so as the situation that we have in the society. So what should we do?
Should we keep ranting and saying “Do this, do that!, Get out!” would it do any better? If yes, maybe we should continue doing that but if nothing changes, maybe we should think about WHAT CAN WE REALLY DO to help our country?
What can I, as an individual, do to make this change that I want happen? Something that would really make an impact and not just noise and toxic energy to my fellowmen. This question is now on YOU.
