A quote says “hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work”.
This quote is undeniably true. It is like the tale of the rabbit and the turtle race into the finish line. You already know who wins.
Yes. Hooray! to the hardworking turtle who never stops to keep the pace even if it is slow and finish the race while the talented bunny sleeps.
Hard Work and Talent is Old as Your Great Grandpa
If you work hard and give all 110% than the talented people who put little effort. You have a superior chance you will win but looking at successful people, something is a little bit off about this old notion.
If hard work and talent are in the top list of ingredient to being successful then why there is a gap between the rich and the poor?
We all are giving the same time to work every day yet the gap of the rich and the poor is still very wide.
Underrated Smart Thinking and Doing
I think talent and hard work is overrated and smart work is underrated.
Why? It is because the rich people have the ability to do less and less work yet earn more and more…and more money.
They develop and educate themselves to make their own system. Making the impossible possible.
They see the world in a different view when most people only accept what is given to them by the society (like work a job for a living).
Rich People try and take the risk of being wrong someday. The top 20% creates and overpowers the world while the other 80% only follows.
Stories like Steve Jobs, Jack Ma and Mark Zuckerberg prove that talent and hard work are overrated. To become creatively successful doesn’t mean to work hard for the rest of your life just to paying bills.
You need to be brave enough to challenge some of the old beliefs and solve people’s problems.
Have the courage on trying to turn an extraordinary approach to later become the new ordinary.
